Straw Man, Sail To The Moon

I prepare to be me; I fake a lot

Underneath my mask, misery shows

Behind my lies, I’m in agony

Bury me until I learn to see, clearly

Lay off your coat for me; take off your mask

Scatter your past like ash; give me your name

Straw man, mmh, sail to the moon Mmh

Derivatives, shadows, afterthoughts

Masks, images, dusty coats

Poke me, sanity; pull me, gravity

If I let go, will God carry me to safety?

Lay off your coat for me; take off your mask

Scatter your past like ash; give me your name

Straw man, mmh, sail to the moon Mmh

I used a spoon to scrape the moon

Little holes made little rooms

For the light to permeate

Lay off your coat for me; take off your mask

Scatter your past like ash; give me your name

Straw man, mmh, sail to the moon Mmh

One Guitar, One Voice

A guitar, a voice, and a little love. Here I found my home in the world.

I grew up listening to Simon And Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Tracy Chapman, and many other folk legends.

Music teaches me to surrender and flow with life. To let go, let my little soul play and the song naturally arises in that space. I capture that moment live with minimal production. My wish is for the songs to come alive in you.

I'm a folk singer-songwriter, but honestly, I'm just a fool in love with scribbling poems on sheets of paper.
