Set Yourself Free

Her struggling hands, she made a plan that she sticks to

everyone's telling her give in, but she doesn't

Her home, that she left behind; her struggling mind, stays quiet

Could she be crazy? Well, maybe she is

could she be smarter? Does she try harder than me?

could she be lonely? Surely but

There's nothing in her heart that says

You can't, you won't, you'll fail, and you're wrong

you're tough, my love; better free yourself

Cause common opinion's wrong

the ignorant stay strong

until you prove them wrong

leave them blissful in their stories

but set yourself free

Cause common opinion's wrong

the ignorant stay strong

until you prove them wrong

leave them blissful in their stories

but set yourself free

Cause common opinion's wrong

the ignorant stay strong

until you prove them wrong

leave them blissful in their stories

but set yourself free

Poetry Of Dissolving Identity

One Guitar, One Voice

A guitar, a voice, and a little love — I found my home in the world.

I grew up listening to Simon And Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Tracy Chapman, and many other folk legends.

Music teaches me to surrender and flow with life. To let go, let my little soul play, and the song naturally arises in that space. I capture that moment live with minimal production. My wish is for the songs to come alive in you.

I'm a folk singer-songwriter, but honestly, I'm just a fool in love with scribbling poems on sheets of paper.
