Little Suitcase Guy

I'm alive, prickling with life

while the world is hostile, and it breaks my heart

you little suitcase guy, when all you really want is to play outside

There are too many shriveled-up, little broken kid-soul hearts

the medicine is love, but the real kind

feel your heart right there; you're okay to smile; no one's watching you

you're alone, tap your feet, I'll rock you

I'm soft and kind; I'm full of you

And you're free of me

Then your wife knocks at your door

your face returns to stone

you little suitcase guy, when all you really want is to kiss and smile

There are too many shriveled-up, little broken kid-soul hearts

the medicine is love, but the real kind

feel your heart right there; you're okay to smile; no one's watching you

you're alone, tap your feet, I'll rock you

I'm soft and kind; I give you peace

Poetry Of Dissolving Identity

One Guitar, One Voice

A guitar, a voice, and a little love — I found my home in the world.

I grew up listening to Simon And Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Tracy Chapman, and many other folk legends.

Music teaches me to surrender and flow with life. To let go, let my little soul play, and the song naturally arises in that space. I capture that moment live with minimal production. My wish is for the songs to come alive in you.

I'm a folk singer-songwriter, but honestly, I'm just a fool in love with scribbling poems on sheets of paper.
