Candlelight

I met you at work on a Saturday night

your eyes were blue in the restaurant's light

you glanced at me and said you'd be my man

you said, 'Pretty girl, I'll spend my life with you'

I'm your candlelight

we'll be all right

every time you call my name

I light the way

every time you call my name

even if it's raining

my love won't ever grow dim on you

you're from Carolina, grew up on a horse

you know how to dance, and you're a rodeo cowboy

I'm a waitress by day, a singer by night

you heard me play at the bar where I work

I'm your candlelight

we'll be all right

every time you call my name

I light the way

every time you call my name

even if it's raining

my love won't ever grow dim on you

Poetry Of Dissolving Identity

One Guitar, One Voice

A guitar, a voice, and a little love — I found my home in the world.

I grew up listening to Simon And Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Tracy Chapman, and many other folk legends.

Music teaches me to surrender and flow with life. To let go, let my little soul play, and the song naturally arises in that space. I capture that moment live with minimal production. My wish is for the songs to come alive in you.

I'm a folk singer-songwriter, but honestly, I'm just a fool in love with scribbling poems on sheets of paper.
